An Introduction to Trap Pt. 1: The Essential Tracks

Welcome to the age of Trap ladies and gentlemen.  In a world where beats rain supreme and producers forever seek the ultimate glorification of finding an unexplored sound, Trap music rose from the fiery ashes of Dirty South Rap instrumentals and tamed Dubstep synth work.  I may be over-hyping Trap, but it’s exciting times for a promising genre of electronic music.  As I just explained, Trap can only be described by the Rap and Hip-Hop beats and the wildly erie synth sounds accompanying those beats.  Today, I would like to introduce to some of the tracks that shot Trap to the forefront of many EDM artist’s festival sets.  Below are some of the tracks responsible for the quick rise of Trap music including Baauer’s “Harlem Shake,” Flosstradamus’ remix of “Original Don,” and RL Grime and Salva’s remix of “Mercy” by Kanye West.  Check them all below and be sure to grab the freebies.  Trap is coming people…
